This historic piece of equipment can be seen at the York County Fire Museum located in York City at the corner of W. Market St. and Carlise Ave.

Old Fire Station

This is the old fire house located at 108 W. Front St., Lewisberry. This picture was taken in 1960. The vehicles in order from left to right are: 1840 horse driven hand pumper, 1953 Ambulance, 1947 Chevy Pumper and 1952 Ford Tanker. Today, the building still exists and is used as apartments within feet of the current fire house.

This picture was taken in 1973, in front of the old fire station on W. Front St. In the back ground is the intersection of Rte. 177 And Front St. The vehicles in order from Left to Right are: 72 Cadillac Ambulance (Ambulance 29), 1946 Chevy Fire Engine (Engine 29), 1968 Chevy Tanker (Tanker 29-1) and 1974 Chevy Tanker (Tanker 29-2).
