WAYS AND MEANS/DINNERS

New bathrooms will be started when we get the grant transferred.
Jack and Jennifer went to the Borough meeting. They have proposed to them that we sell our building to the Borough for $80,000. This money will be used to pay off our debt. In return, the Borough will lease the building to us for $1.00 per year for 100 years. This will assure the Borough that the fire company will remain in the Borough. The Borough has accepted this proposal.

QRS CAPTAIN’S REPORT
April is currently in E.M.T. class.
You must have driver training to drive the QRS. If you are not an E.M.T., you should not be in the front seat.
Do not use radios other than to call responding, on scene, and available. Never use lights and sirens when responding to sexual assault calls.
No matter what class the call is. Fairview has an ALS going in service April 1st. This ALS will be first due in Lewisberry and all of Newberry Township.
If you use anything out of the O2 bag, let Mike or Willie know ASAP so they can replace it and seal the bag.

We need to decide on when we want our floors buffed but we need to first figure out how to pay for this.
NEW BUSINESS
Box alarms and run maps are in every truck. Dennis Beck is on a medical leave until the end of February. There will be a live burn training at TMI on April 26. No POVs will be allowed at this training due to security reasons. Run responses- check policies to be aware of what calls we can run lights and sirens on. If you are not sure, don’t run your lights or sirens. We have put new policies in effect regarding Flea Market and General Station Projects. See attached policies.
FOR THE GOOD OF THE COMPANY
We will be starting a health and wellness program. We have exercise equipment that has been donated to us. We have brochures to try to recruit new volunteers. Please pass them out to anyone you know who might be interested.
